In Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district, police arrested a 32-year-old mother of three, Rinku, and her paramour, Karan, for the pre-planned murder of her husband, Kedar.
The suspects killed the victim while he was asleep outside his home because he had become an obstacle in their five-month-long illicit relationship.
The victim and accused had previously migrated to Maharashtra for labor, during which time the wife began a continuous affair with a man from the neighboring Umarda village.
During interrogation, the couple revealed that Rinku’s husband was becoming a hindrance in their five-month-long affair. Karan, the lover, wanted to marry Rinku, so he killed Kedar.
On the night of the July 1 incident, Kedar was sleeping outside the house.
Meanwhile, the woman, Rinku’s lover, Karan, entered the house and the two had sex.
The woman told Karan that her husband was becoming a hindrance in their affair and asked Karan to eliminate him.
Hearing this, Karan attacked Kedar, who was sleeping outside the house, with a stick, killing him and fleeing the scene. On Thursday, the police arrested both accused (Rinku and Karan), solving the case within about nine hours.
