A murder case has come to light in Hyderabad, where a woman murdered her husband with the help of her lover and buried his body near the Maharashtra border.

The victim, Pentaiah had been missing since November last year.

At the time, Satyavathi herself lodged a missing person complaint with the Miyapur Police.

During the investigation, police examined Satyavathi’s call detail records (CDRs), technical evidence, and CCTV footage.

Investigators have alleged that the evidence revealed she conspired with her alleged lover to murder her husband.

Police further claimed that after killing Pentaiah, the accused transported his body to an area near the Maharashtra border and buried it in an attempt to hide the crime.

With the assistance of the Maharashtra Police, the Miyapur Police exhumed the body from the burial site and have taken Satyavathi into custody while her lover is absconding.
