Ketan Agrawal, son of a prominent industrialist, Vishal Agrawal, had reportedly fallen into a gorge while posing for photographs during a trek at Lohagad Fort.

The incident occurred on June 18, which was also the birthday of his fiancée.

At first, authorities believed that Ketan had accidentally slipped and fallen while taking pictures.

However, an investigation by the Lonavala Rural Police uncovered evidence suggesting that the incident was staged.




According to police, Ketan was allegedly pushed into the gorge by a friend of his fiancée, who is believed to have been her romantic partner.

Subsequently, police detained the fiancée and her alleged lover for questioning.

According to police sources, Siya Goyal did not wish to marry Ketan Agrawal and was opposed to the arranged marriage.

Under the pretext of celebrating her birthday with a trek to Lohagad Fort, Ketan was allegedly lured to the location, where he was pushed into a deep gorge, resulting in his death.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to determine the full extent of the conspiracy and identify any additional individuals involved.
