Shiva Sharma, a 28-year-old cafe owner, died after falling from a balcony in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area, and a murder case has been registered based on his mother’s complaint against his social media influencer girlfriend.

Three days ago, on 9 October, Shiva died after falling from the fourth floor of the same Awadh Green Apartment.

Shiva had been living with Shraddha in a live-in relationship for four months. He was wearing only underwear. There was lipstick on his face.

Ranjana Sharma (Shiva’s mother) filed a murder complaint alleging that Shraddha Dubey blackmailed and physically assaulted her son over several months, threatened to circulate obscene videos of him, and harassed him regarding marriage plans.

The family claimed the body bore multiple injuries, including cigarette burn marks on the ribs, shoulders, arms, and thighs, as well as severe trauma to the jaw and bleeding from the eyes, ears, and nose, suspecting prior physical assault.

The mother further claimed that her son had been held captive and brutally assaulted before his death.

The police investigation revealed that Shraddha Dubey is a native of Rae Bareli. She was married and has a son. Shraddha divorced her husband in 2022. Her son lives with her husband.

She then shifted to Lucknow so that she could work as a model.

Shiva’s mother, filed a murder case against five people, including Shraddha, her sister Rashmi and driver Adil, in connection with her son’s death. She alleged that Shraddha pushed her son from the fourth floor.
