In an incident that took place in Sarpavaram Mandapam Colony of Kakinada district, auto driver Pulla Durga Prasad died under suspicious circumstances.

The facts that later emerged during the police investigation have shocked everyone.

According to the police, Durga Prasad, who was suffering from heart problems, was allegedly murdered by his wife Ramadevi, with the help of her boyfriend.

Police said that Durga Prasad had undergone a heart stent procedure two years ago and, due to his health condition, was mostly confined to his home.




During this time, Ramadevi reportedly came into contact with a man from Bapatla through social media, and the two allegedly developed an extramarital relationship.

Investigators claim that, believing Durga Prasad was an obstacle to their relationship, they conspired to kill him by making him drink juice mixed with sleeping pills before suffocating him to death.

The accused allegedly made it appear as though he had died of a heart attack and even performed his last rites. However, as the saying goes, the truth eventually came to light.
