The Thrissur West Police has registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against social media influencer Nisha Raphael following a complaint of sexual assault involving an 11-year-old boy.

The young victim was taken to the Thrissur General Hospital for a comprehensive medico-legal examination.

Preliminary findings from the medical check-up confirmed that the child was subjected to sexual assault.

Sources close to Raphael claim the complaint arose from an ongoing property dispute regarding two flats between her and the complainant.

Police have stated that a detailed investigation is underway, with further legal actions depending on the ongoing findings.

As per reports, a very old legal dispute has been going on between Nisha and the complainant’s family over the ownership of two flats.

There is also a personal enmity between them.

However, Nisha claimed that the allegations are false & was filed to take revenge.

Meanwhile, Thrissur West Police has expedited the investigation into the case and is focusing on finding out the truth. Based on the official complaint, a case has been registered against Nisha Raphael, the police are now investigating the matter in detail and further legal action is underway.
