Akash Jat, a resident of Ratlam’s Revenue Colony, met Sakshi Nakum, also from Ratlam, through Instagram. After 6 months of friendship, they got married on 20 November 2022, at the Arya Samaj Temple in Indore.

Initially, their families opposed it, but later they agreed. On December 13, 2022, they remarried in Ratlam with full rituals.

Just four months after the wedding, Akash’s health began to deteriorate. During an examination in Vadodara (Gujarat) on 10 April, 2023, it was discovered that Akash had Trachea Cancer.

Sakshi’sehavior completely changed after that. Instead of staying with him, she distanced herself and said – You will die tomorrow, what will happen to me?

While Akash was fighting for his life in the hospital, Sakshi filed a complaint of assault against him at the women’s police station. However, upon presenting medical records, the police did not take any action against Akash. After this, Sakshi filed a divorce petition in the Family Court.

The divorce case was still pending.

Meanwhile, on June 10, 2024, Sakshi married another man from Chhatarpur.

Despite repeated summons from the court, Sakshi did not appear for the hearing. Due to continuous absence, the court has issued an arrest warrant against her and ordered her to appear in court on July 25, 2026.

Akash has also lost his mother and father & is all alone now.
