An unusual love dispute in Mahmudabad, Sitapur district, Uttar Pradesh, involved a woman named Anju Verma, her husband Shubham Verma, and a local man named Nitin Vishwakarma, who walked into the local police station asking to live together under a single roof.

The woman proposed an unconventional time-sharing arrangement based on work hours, which left local police baffled.

The woman insisted on staying with both men, outlining a schedule where one stays during the day and the other at night depending on work shifts.




In a surprising twist, the husband reportedly stated he was willing to accept the arrangement and would not leave either of them, even if it meant leaving his family home.

The husband’s father and sisters strongly opposed the unconventional living arrangement, prompting the dispute to be brought to the Mahmudabad Police Station.

Police officers attempted to counsel the trio for several hours, but no formal legal or traditional resolution was reached, leaving authorities astonished by the rare case.
