Atul Panwar (35) and his wife, Damini (30) had a love marriage in 2019 and has a 6 year old son.
Atul and Damini ran Krishna Kids Public School.
On Friday morning Atul was allegedly bitten by a snake at his house, and was later declared dead.
Kumar said a snake was found on Panwar’s bed, but family members suspected foul play, after which police began an investigation and she was arrested along with husband.
Damini, who is currently in jail in connection with the alleged murder of her husband, school operator Atul, has been given a new responsibility at Meerut District Jail.
According to the jail administration, Damini will officially take charge of library duties from Tuesday. She has been given the responsibility of helping female inmates and children read religious books.
She has also taken a copy of the Ramayana for the library and expressed her desire to conduct readings of the Ramayana and Sundarkand for women and children inmates.
