In a shocking case reported from Giridih, Jharkhand, a 24-year-old woman, Preeti Kumari, has been accused of being involved in the murder of her mother-in-law, Hemanti Devi.

According to the allegations, Preeti Kumari was in an illicit relationship with her father-in-law, Daulat Sao.

It is claimed that the two were living together like husband and wife and considered Hemanti Devi an obstacle to their relationship.

The incident allegedly took place on Friday night, when Preeti and Daulat Sao are said to have conspired to kill Hemanti Devi.

Reports claim that the victim was murdered using a grinder machine.

After the alleged killing, the accused reportedly locked Hemanti Devi’s body inside a room in an attempt to conceal the crime.

When neighbours inquired about her whereabouts, Preeti allegedly told them that her mother-in-law had gone to her daughter’s house, misleading those around her.

Authorities are investigating the matter, and further legal proceedings are expected based on the evidence collected.
