A young man in Gwalior has accused his wife of demanding 5 lakh rupees and threatening to pack him in a “blue drum.”

Victim Rahul Jatav revealed that in April 2026, he married Rakhi, a resident of Shivpuri. After the wedding was solemnised, Rakhi stayed at her in-laws’ house for only a month and then returned to her parents’ home.




Rakhi then refuses to go back with Rahul and began threatening Rahul by posting videos on social media.

Rahul was directly demanded ₹5 lakh and warned of dire consequences, including being packed in a drum, if he did not pay.

When Rahul learned about his wife’s background, he was shocked. Rahul alleges that Rakhi has had affairs with several men, is an alcoholic, and is abusive.




CSP Manish Yadav stated that the accused woman’s mobile phone is switched off, but she is active on social media. Police are trying to contact her and will soon investigate and resolve the matter.

As of now, Rahul has handed over all of his wife’s threatening videos to the police.
