A Zero FIR has been registered against a 25-year-old Noida-based influencer, Ruchika Singh, for allegedly hurling abusive and objectionable remarks at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

She also drags Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s name. 

The remarks were made on July 23, 2026, during the NEET paper leak protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Supreme Court advocate Smriti Singh Chandel filed the initial complaint. The complainant noted that the abusive language directly hurt the dignity of the constitutional office of the Prime Minister, spread hatred, and intentionally targeted public peace.




The case was initially registered on July 29, 2026, at the Expressway Police Station in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar. Because the event occurred at Jantar Mantar (which falls under the jurisdiction of the Delhi Police), it was filed as a Zero FIR.

A Zero FIR allows any police station to accept a complaint regardless of jurisdiction and assign it a “zero” serial number before transferring it to the appropriate station. The Noida Police have officially transferred the case documents to the Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi for active investigation.
