𝗜𝗧𝗕𝗣 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 ‘𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱’ 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆

An Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel allegedly shot himself dead on 20th February, in Chanakyapuri.

The 33-year-old was identified as Yogeshwar Reddy, a resident of Bellary in Karnataka. Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi, Deepak Yadav said that Yogeshwar was currently posted at Nehru Taramandal in Chanakyapuri. According to the DCP, the constable shot himself in the chest by his service weapon. He returned from leave on February 5th.

A suicide note was also found from his almirah. However, the cotent of the note has not been disclosed. “The reason apparently is related to marital discord,” an officer said.
