This incident is from the year 2015. A woman trial court judge (New Delhi) was accused of severely harassing and torturing a male court staff who has alleged that she verbally abused him and also told him to commit suicide. The man is said to be suffering from depression and has made a complaint to the district and sessions judge (headquarters) Tis Hazari courts, citing many instances when the metropolitan magistrate ill-treated him.
“Many times, the learned metropolitan magistrate also ordered me to remain standing inside her chamber for hours, saying that I have to abide by all her directions… Whenever I requested her not to abuse me…she used to tell me to jump from the building and commit suicide,” his complaint states. The complaint also said that the woman judge used to threaten the complainant by saying one of her previous court staff had also attempted suicide and “he deserves the same fate”, the staff said.

In the complaint, the complainant had requested a transfer of the Metropolitan Megistrate from the court citing innumerable instances of harassment by her. The complainant had also sought a personal hearing to narrate his ordeal.

The complaint, dated September 17, 2015, states that the Megistrate has been “abusive” towards the man from the very first day of his posting in 2014. The complaint alleged, “She has been very rude…and has been continuously using abusive and filthy language during the official work progress (sic)…These abuses happened in open court as well as inside the chamber.”
He in his complaint also said that on September 16 , 2015 , the MM crossed all boundaries of decency and he was forced to take medical treatment as he was left traumatized. “It was height of misbehaviour when she abused me for no reason by calling me inside her chamber. The filthy language and abuses towards me were so low and demeaning that I cannot write the same here… When I requested her not to abuse me in this manner, she opened the windowpane of the chamber and asked me to jump from there and commit suicide. Due to this, I started feeling uneasy and left the chamber. I was shivering and started feeling so unwell that I later visited the court dispensary,” the complaint said, adding that he is yet to overcome the shock.
Mohan also said he tried to speak to two senior judges in this regard on September 16 but they had already left court by then.

There’s no further updates on this incident till date.
