A 13-year-old Class 8 student from Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, has won praise across social media after fearlessly approaching the District Magistrate during Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas to seek action over an alleged family property dispute.

According to reports, the boy, Amitabh Gupta, told the DM that a room in his family’s house had allegedly been locked by a relative, preventing the family from renting it out to earn money for his and his sister’s education.

He also claimed that despite repeated complaints, the local police had not resolved the issue.

The video went viral after the District Magistrate assured him that action would be taken, to which the boy confidently replied:

“Karwa denge nahi, karwa dijiye.”

Following the video’s viral spread, the district administration directed the police to verify the matter. During the inquiry, officials said the issue appeared to be part of an ongoing family property dispute, and the investigation is continuing.
