A case from Rohtas, Bihar, has drawn attention after a man alleged that his wife left their marital home with her alleged lover after being selected as a Bihar Police constable. According to reports, Ajay Singh of Prayag Bigha in the Dalmianagar police station area married Archana Bharti on January 26, 2025.




Ajay claims he supported his wife’s education after marriage, including paying for coaching and accompanying her to examination centres in different cities. His efforts reportedly coincided with Archana’s selection as a Bihar Police constable. She was subsequently expected to undergo training. However, Ajay alleges that on July 3, 2026, she left home with Vivek Kumar, a man from Dehri’s Gandhi Nagar area.




Ajay further claimed that the family had previously discovered conversations between Archana and Vivek on her mobile phone. According to his complaint, the family had counselled her at the time, after which the matter appeared to settle. The husband has approached Dalmianagar police seeking action. Ajay also alleged that she fled with jewellery and cash.
