A very heinous crime has come to light from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman has allegedly killed her husband with the help of her boyfriend and a male friend. The woman had buried the body of her husband near a construction site.
The accused woman identified as Neetu and her boyfriend Harpal were rarrested by the Police after they found the body from the construction site in Bisrakh. Cops are looking for the third accused in the case who is identified as Gaurav.
The victim has been identified as Satish Pal and had been missing for one week prior to the case being registered.
The story came to light after a missing complaint was filed by the victim’s brother, after which the police started their investigation in the case from January 10th. The police in the initial probe failed to find any lead in the matter. However, after continuing the investigation, the police were able to trace down Neetu’s lover Harpal who used to visit the house of the couple quite frequently. The police questioned Harpal and milled him to find more information. Harpal confessed to the crime and told the police that he, along with Neetu and Gaurav had killed Satish Pal.
According to the reports, the murder was conspired by Harpal in hopes that he and Neetu could marry each other by eliminating Satish Pal from their lives. The two, along with the help of a friend had killed and buried the body of the victim at a nearby plot of land where they had planned to build a home. The accused then built a septic tank over the land where the body was buried.
The murder was committed On January 2 when Neetu, had spiked her husband’s drink after which he drifted off. After that, Harpal along with his friend Gaurav, strangled Satish to death.
According to reports the police have arrested Harpal and Neetu while they are still on the lookout for Gaurav. The FIR lodged against the two accused has charged them under IPC’S section 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of an offense committed or giving false information to save the offender) 34 (Common Intention) and 120B (Criminal conspiracy).
There were reports of the murder being inspired from Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Drishyam’ but DCP Vishal Pandey clarified that the accused didn’t take any idea from the film.
