A man from Narol, Ahmedabad, committed suicide because of the facing torture from his in-laws. The father of the deceased man has registered a complaint against five people of the in-laws of his son, which includes the son’s wife.
The complaint said that the son was constantly under pressure from his in-laws to buy a house.
The son committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance . The complainant was filed by the father of the deceased, Vasdev Khali Ram Sharma (65), a resident of Haryana. He has written the complaint against five family members including the son ‘s wife and father-in-law at Narol Police Station. His son, Vipan, got married in 2013. He lived in Om Shantinagar-2, Narol area in Ahmedabad and worked in a textile factory.
The father of the deceased has claimed that he was being pressured by his in-laws to borrow money to purchase a house. It also reported that he was being beaten up. He finally got tired and couldn’t take the torture anymore. He swallowed poisonous substance and ended his life.
Accordingly, Narol Police has registered a case against the in-laws of the man named in the FIR under section 306 and 114. The case is under further investigation.
