A very surprising incident from Gujarat has come to light where a woman has sent her husband to jail for seven times.

Premchand Mali and Sonu from Mehsana village in Gujarat got married in 2001.  Premchand Mali, a laborer, was the only bread earner and supported his family despite the financial crisis he was going through. There is no serious problem between them except financial problems. But in 2014, quarrels started between the couple.

In 2015, Premchand’s wife Sonu filed a police complaint against him for domestic violence. A case was registered against him under physical assault and mental harassment. The court ordered the wife to be given a monthly allowance of Rs.2,000. But Premchand, who works as a laborer,  said that it was not possible for him to give ₹2 thousand per month. Prem Chand was then jailed for this.

After 5 months, Premchand was released on bail which was arranged by his wife. But strangely, since 2016, Premchand was sent to jail around 5 times by the police due to various complaints registered by his wife Sonu. And each time, his wife would arrange for his bail after a few months. The local police are now expressing impatience with the behavior of Prem Chand and his wife Sonu.

We have heard about a lot of couples who gets seperated due to difficult marriages. But this incident is a rare one.
