In this recent case from Pune, a man had filed a divorce against his wife where the court gave the order to live together for a month but the woman did not follow the court’s order.

Therefore, according to the petition filed by the husband, the court has granted a divorce without alimony. This order has been issued by the Joint Civil Judge AP Girdkar.

The couple got married in 2009.
The man is a job holder, while the woman is a housewife. After four months of marriage, she left. But even after that, she used to come for few days and then go, which continued for a period of four years. After 2013, she never came back.

As she was not coming back, the man issued a notice to her in 2015. However, she did not come. Finally through Adv. Shivajirao Deshmukh, he filed a petition in the court.

The court asked her to come back and continue her married life with her husband. However, she did not appear in court. Therefore, in June 2018, the court ordered her to come and continue her married life within a month. Yet, she did not come.
So on January 18, 2020, her husband filed a divorce case. He filed a case with the help of Adv. Shivajirao Deshmukh and Adv. Sai Deshmukh.

Even then, she did not show up at the court on the given dates. Meanwhile, the corona pandemic affected the court work and restrictions were imposed. The court granted divorce to the couple as soon as the pandemic ended. According to the verdict, the husband will not have to pay ant alimony to his wife as she didn’t comply with the court’s order.
