In a very strange incident from Kerela, where a couple decided to die together, the man killed himself whereas the woman got scared and decided to backout at the last moment.

As per the reports, they checked into a hotel to kill themselves. The 31-year old man took his life while his girlfriend with whom he had decided to take the extreme step, backed out at the last moment in Pathanamthitta district of Kerela.

 The incident came to light on Monday night  when the hotel staff heard the woman crying in her room. When the staff entered the room, they saw the man hanging and there was blood on the woman’s ear. After this the hotel staff informed about the same to the police. The police reached the hotel and took the woman to a local hospital, which referred her to the Kottayam Medical College hospital.

According to the information received, the woman claimed that she and her lover decided to die together. The couple checked into the hotel on Sunday. She said that they took some medicines and the man hanged himself to death, while she got frightened and started to scream. Meanwhile the woman’s family had also lodged a missing complaint at their local police station after she did not return to home on Sunday. As of now police is investigating the matter and the reason why the couple decided to take such an extreme step is yet not clear.
