Some male students of a residential school in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district have written a complaint letter to the principal that the girl students bully them.
The students are from the seventh standard of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Taiyapur and has requested the principal to direct the girls to apologise for their behaviour.
In their letter they had mentioned that the girl students use words like ‘Lalla’, ‘rasgulla’ and ‘daamar’.
“The girls make noise in the class, sings song and speaks Hindi dialogues. When we ask them to be quiet and behaive, the girls say ‘aukaat me raho’ (stay in your limits),” said the boys. The boys had also mentioned the names of the girls who used to bully them.
This matter came to light after the letter became viral on social media.
The principal of the school, Sanjiv Gupta said that the matter was two months old. After he received the complaint, they had formed a team of warden and teachers to counsel the girls and the matter had ended after that.
He also said that he has asked for a report from the wardens and teachers as to why he was not informed about the matter.
