This case is from the year 2020, where a 25-year-old woman allegedly beat her six-month-old daughter to death in Aligarh’s Rampus villageafter her husband refused to buy her and the children new clothes for Holi. The woman, Pinky Sharma, has been arrested by the police.

According to police, the incident took place when Pinky’s husband Rahul, refused to go to market to buy new clothes for her and the children, as he was feeling unwell. They allegedly argued with each other and later Pinky took out her frustration on her daughter, Soni, and thrashed her badly, leading to her death.

Rahul lodged a police complaint against Pinky and has been booked under Section 302 (murder) of IPC at Jawan police station.

Station incharge, Naresh Kumar Singh, said that Pinky told police that she did not do it intentionally. She was frustrated with the domestic issues and constant arguments with her husband On a daily basis. On Saturday, she took out her frustration on her daughter but she did not know that she would die.
Pinki and Rahul also has a son named Rishabh who is 4 years old.
